Xbox One’s Achievements app to be updated this winter

At the Xbox E3 2014 Media Briefing, Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb confirmed updates to the Xbox One’s Achievement app.

The app will allow for snapping, and with its improved functionality, will show tracking for achievements you’ve yet so unlock. Using Dead Rising 3 as an example, the snapped Achievement app displayed how many more zombies needed to be killed by the player to unlock one of the game’s various “kill # of zombies” achievements.

The app will also make it easier to find strategy guides for those hard-to-unlock achievements.

The Achievement app will be updated by this winter.
