The Xbox One Kinect bundle still sells better than the Kinect-less one in Australia

EB Games Australia has told MCV Pacific that Xbox One sales in Australia are relying more upon Kinect-included bundles than the console’s new Kinect-less SKU.

EB’s Debra McGrath confirmed that Xbox One sales have “more than doubled” since the cheaper, Kinect-less Xbox One was made available in Australia, but consumers are still going for the option with the peripheral.

“The original Xbox One with Kinect included is still the number one choice for consumers,” McGrath said, asserting that consoles bundled with Kinect and several games proved more enticing to consumers than a cheaper price point.

“We expect this trend to grow as the Kinect technology continues to evolve and new features are added to the service,” she added.
