Xbox One gets a (limited-time) price reduction in the USA

In the wake of PS4 consoles getting a $50 CAD price rise in Canada, Microsoft is currently offering the Xbox One for $50 USD less than normal retail price.

Available at the likes of retailers like Best Buy, Walmart and the Microsoft Store, the Xbox One is currently on sale for $449 USD. That’s compared to its regular price of $499 USD. It’s also been confirmed that the Microsoft Store is also bundling in a copy of Titanfall free with the console.

Better yet, those that head to Amazon.com and use the code XIAMAZON will get the Xbox One and a free copy of either Titanfall or Forza Motorsport 5 for $399 USD.

Microsoft has said that the sales are purely coincidence, and the various offers aren’t indicative of a full-blown price cut. Still, it’s a good time to be in America, eh?
