Xbox January Developer Direct promises looks at Fable, Forza, and Beast of Reincarnation

And it happens on 23 January here in Australia.

A new Xbox January Developer Direct is scheduled for 23 January here in Australia, and promises looks at Fable, Forza Horizon 6and Beast of Reincarnation.

Playground Games will be doing a lot of the direct’s heavy lifting, responsible for both Fable and Forza Horizon 6Pokemon‘s Game Freak will also feature of course, as it’s the studio developing Beast of Reincarnation.

“Presented by the game creators themselves, Developer_Direct will once again give you an inside look at not just the games, but the studios working to bring them to life,” Microsoft said of the stream. “Fittingly for Xbox’s 25th anniversary year, that includes the return of some of our most legendary franchises, which rub shoulders with a brand new title from one of Japan’s most beloved studios.”

The stream starts at 5.00 am AEDT on 23 January here in Australia, which corresponds to 10am Pacific, 1pm Eastern, or 6pm GMT the day before, 22 January. You can check your own timezone right here.

It’s unclear how long the show will last for, but we’ll be reporting on all the news after the event. We’ll have a video embed for you when it’s available. In the meantime, will you be waking up early for this one? Why or why not?
