Xbox head Phil Spencer wants more “Japanese publishers on our stage” at E3 2018

Xbox head, Phil Spencer, has plans to feature more Japanese publishers at E3 2018.

Taking to Twitter, Spencer said, “like last year I wanted to make sure we supported our Japanese publishers on our stage and this year we are working to do the same. It’s important to us.”

He continued to say that he’d like to see franchises like Yakuza on Xbox One, adding that “Sega has a lot of good franchises that would be cool to see” on Xbox.

Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference will take place at 6.00 am AEST on 11 June, so we don’t have long to wait to see how JRPGs are represented on Xbox One.

E3 2018 takes place over 12-14 June. For a list of all known press conferences in your timezone, click here.
