Xbox gets Discord on console, HowLongtoBeat on PC

Big updates.

Two big updates have been applied to the Xbox ecosystem on consoles and PC and bring Discord and HowLongtoBeat to the masses.

First, Xbox One and Series consoles now have access to Discord voice chat; the feature has been rolling out to users since July.

To take advantage of the feature, head to Parties & chats on your console and then select Try Discord Voice on Xbox. From there, you’ll need to scan a QR code that will help you link your Discord and Xbox accounts.

Next, the Xbox app on PC now has in-built access to HowLongtoBeat, a service that gives you a decent idea of how long it will actually take to complete a game.

As you can see in the image below, the service provides an estimate on how long a title’s story will take to finish alongside side missions and, finally, a completionist estimate.

Which of the two new features are you most excited for and why? Sound off in the comments area, below.
