Xbox Games Showcase Extended to provide deep dives Friday at 3 am AEST

Fancy one more extremely early start (or late finish) to your E3 experience?

An Xbox Game Showcase Extended event will provide deep dives into a handful of upcoming Xbox games, Microsoft has today confirmed.

Sadly, for us Aussies it’s at the far from ideal time of 3.00 am AEST on Friday, 18 June. Set those alarms.

“This special showcase, hosted by Gamertag Radio’s Parris Lilly, will feature behind the scenes details and up close and personal conversations with developers to dive deeper into their recent announcements,” Xbox detailed. “You’ll hear from 343 Industries, World’s Edge, Playground Games, Ninja Theory, Double Fine, our talented partners from around the world, and more.”

From the developers listed, that means looks at Halo Infinite, Age of Empires 4, Forza Horizon 5, Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2 and Psychonauts 2 in addition to other titles.

Are you planning on getting up for this second Xbox show? We’ve added it to our list of E3 2021 (or adjacent) events in Australian times.
