Xbox Game Pass will get at least 5 new games a month

Microsoft used its daily E3 show to detail more of the newly release Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

The Netflix-like Games Pass will add at least five games a month on the first of every month, Microsoft recently confirmed.

Moreover, old games won’t be swapped out for new titles until at least November of this year.

Priced at $10.95 AUD per month in Australia, the service offers approximately 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles to subscribers, all playable on Xbox One. The service, which requires games are fully downloaded, not streamed, before play, also offers a 20% discount on Xbox One game purchases, and 10% off related add-ons, including DLC and Season Passes.

The service went live for Xbox Live Gold subscribers in late May, and all Xbox One users this month.
