Xbox Game Pass Quests move to daily, weekly, monthly format

Xbox Game Pass Quests have changed, moving away from specific game-focused tasks and towards ones encouraging exploration of the subscription’s large library across different periods of time.

“Our goal with the Quests program is to help you discover and try new games and be rewarded for playing the Xbox Game Pass games you love,” Microsoft said in an update. “We heard your feedback about improving Quests and making this a better experience while gaming, so you can now play any Xbox Game Pass console game to earn points. We’ll still have Quests around specific games, so Quests will continue to be a great way for you to discover games you may not have tried yet.”

While there are still some quests specific to certain games, there are also generic daily, weekly and monthly quests to complete. Completed quests will earn players Microsoft Rewards points, which in turn can be used on the Microsoft Store.

You can check out new quests on Xbox One by checking a game, then heading to  Achievements > See all my Achievements > Compare Games > Stats. You can also download the Xbox Game Pass app on iOS or Android to head straight to the Quests section.
