The Xbox FanFest heads to Sydney at the end of the month

Microsoft today advised that the first-ever Australian Xbox FanFest will take place at the end of the month in Sydney.

The event will run over 27-29 September with tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be distributed on 27 September at the Microsoft Store, Pitt Street Mall in Sydney, NSW from 10.30 am AEST. Needless to say, demand is expected to be high.

Events during the FanFest include:

  • A special Forza Horizon 3 launch event at Sydney Dragway, Tuesday afternoon, September 27.
  • A secret Wednesday late afternoon activity, 28 September, for Gears of War 4.
  • Exclusive early access to the Xbox booth at EB Games Expo, Thursday night, 29 September, where fans can access the Xbox Booth before it’s open to the public.
  • Fan swag, Xbox fan shirt and other goodies.
  • Meet and greet some of the industry’s top developers, leaders and influencers.

Ticket holders will have to be 18 years of age or older. Tickets will be issued one ticket to one person, and the tickets are non-transferable. Only 250 tickets will be offered in total.
