Xbox adds another pirate game, Atlas, to console in October

At today’s Inside Xbox livestream, it was confirmed that pirate game Atlas will be available on Xbox One in early October.

If you don’t look carefully, you’d be forgiven for thinking Atlas‘ trailer, below, was actually for Sea of Thieves. Xbox said there’s room for two pirate games on its console; whether you agree with that assessment or not is up to you.

Atlas boasts release parity on Windows PC and Xbox One, meaning updates will come at the same time. Moreover, Atlas will offer cross-play between both platforms; keyboard and mouse support on Xbox One is planned.

Atlas is currently available on Windows PC and heads to Xbox One via the Xbox Preview Program from early October.
