Xbox Achievement tracking, Gamerscore leaderboards down

Xbox Achievement tracking and Gamerscore leaderboards are currently not working, Microsoft has confirmed.

“In-game matchmaking, cloud storage, finding friends, Game DVR, leaderboards, avatar editing, or pictures,” have been impacted by limited Xbox Live Social and Gaming functionality.

“Our engineers and developers are actively continuing to work to resolve the problem(s) that is/are causing some members issues viewing Achievements, Friends List or the activity of friends. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.”

This writer has experienced Gamerscore leaderboards with everyone at the first place of 0 Gamerscore for April. While Achievements are unlocking in normal play — including in Sea of Thieves — they’re not counting towards a player’s total Gamerscore at the moment.

Worse yet, this writer’s Gamerscore has been reverted back to an odd-numbered one as part of the difficulties. My OCD is pinging, people.

Having troubles checking your Achievement progress? This is the culprit. We’ll let you know when the issue has been resolved. While you wait, maybe read up on the best ways to earn Achievements and Gamerscore.
