WWE 2K20 donates $500,000 to leukemia research

A WWE 2K20 charity initiative has ensured that $500,000 USD has been donated to leukemia research, 2K today confirmed.

The initiative, in which social media users were tasked to spread awareness of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and its goal to fund research, find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients, hit 2K’s maximum donation amount of $500,000 USD through retweets and shares.

The message — “we fight, we overcome, we believe” — was spread using an image of leukemia survivor and WWE superstar, Roman Reigns.

If you’d like to donate to the campaign personally, you can do so here.

“We are proud of the support our fans have shown to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society,” said Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing for 2K. “With their retweets and personal contributions, our partnership with this great patient advocacy organization enables us to give back in a meaningful way and help save lives.”

WWE 2K20 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
