Woke CliffyB wants to consult on Gears

Cliff ‘CliffyB’ Bleszinski has offered to consult on the Gears franchise in the wake of news that Coalition studio head, Rod Fergusson, would be leaving in March.

“Offer still stands to consult on the Gears franchise, Microsoft. Your move,” he wrote on Twitter. “Rod had a bunch of my and [Lee Perry’s] unused ideas sitting on the cutting room floor.”

Bleszinski was back in the news today after posting his beliefs as to why his former studio, Boss Key Productions, and its shooter LawBreakers had failed. According to CliffyB, both he and the game were too “woke” for players.

Would you like to see Bleszinski work with The Coalition on Gears or remain retired?
