Without knowing what it is, EB Games will take your cash to pre-order the Nintendo NX

Even though Nintendo’s newest hardware, codenamed the “NX”, has only been announced today, that’s not stopping EB Games from trying to take your cash straight away.

The retailer advised pre-orders for the hardware are now open.

EB Games will gladly sit on your cash now — gaining any interest on it rather than you doing the same with your own bank account — without even knowing if the NX is a handheld or console. Hell, considering Nintendo and DeNA partnered up to produce smartphone games, maybe the NX is something more akin to a mobile phone.

Regardless, we recommend that you hold on to your money until we all have a better idea of what the NX actually is.
