Windows 10 on Xbox One is called OneCore and is highly customisable

Mike Ybarra, Director of Program Management on Xbox and Windows Platforms, joined the Major Nelson podcast to shed some light on Windows 10 on Xbox One.

Called OneCore, Ybarra confirmed that the UI is highly customisable, fast and responsive. Ybarra says some features are 50% faster as compared to the Xbox One’s current UI.

Ybarra also said the Xbox app on Windows 10 is being used quite considerable, and the Xbox team is getting a lot of feedback from users. A preview program for the app itself is being considered.

Those lucky enough to be in the Xbox One Preview Program should be getting the opportunity to test out OneCore soon.
