Windows 10 beta will run on Xbox One this spring

Xbox head Phil Spencer has tweeted that a Windows 10 beta on Xbox One will happen “post-summer”, or in Australia’s spring.

Windows 10 is being designed to run across PC, Surface tablets, Windows Phones and the Xbox One, offering universal apps that will work on all platforms.

It’s a safe bet that in this case, “post-summer” means “after E3”.

It’s also a safe bet that we’re sure to see Windows 10 implementation on the Xbox One in one form or another at E3 itself, this June.
