We Happy Few Season Pass, Sandbox mode detailed

We Happy Few Season Pass and post-launch content has been confirmed by developer Compulsion Games.

We Happy Few Season Pass

In terms of paid content, Compulsion also announced the We Happy Few Season Pass. Here’s what’s included:

  • Roger & James in ‘They Came From Below’: Precocious Roger and Impetuous James set off in search of adventure and love, only to uncover bizarre technology and a terrifying new threat. All is not as it seems. Or is it exactly as it seems
  • Lightbearer: Heartthrob, artist, and personal trainwreck, Nick Lightbearer is Wellington Wells’ most celebrated rock star—but what truly makes him tick? Tune in to Uncle Jack’s late show to find out.
  • We All Fall Down: Much like any well-worn happy mask, all societies develop cracks in their veneer. But that doesn’t mean you should go digging up dirt from the past.

The We Happy Few Season Pass will be available for purchase, post-launch, but currently is only available as part of the game’s Deluxe Edition.

We Happy Few free, post-launch content

Free content will come in the form of the game’s free Sandbox mode. The mode will allow players to customise the game world, changing things like size, AI difficulty, food availability, population and more. In-game rules can also be customised, including playing as an NPC.

A release date for the Sandbox mode has yet to be detailed.

We Happy Few heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 10 August. Expect our review shortly.
