Head of Xbox Phil Spencer was at the 2015 Geekwire summit recently and spoke about the Xbox One’s ongoing image issues with many gamers. He also touched on his uncertainty as to whether Microsoft’s console can catch Sony’s PS4 in sales figures.
When asked about the PS4’s sales lead and of the Xbox One could catch up he said “You know I don’t know. They have a huge lead and a good product.”
Spencer also spoke about the console’s ongoing image issues with fans. He explains how many hardcore fans were lost before the console even launched and how even to this day some people believe the Xbox One doesn’t play used games.
