Watch: Here’s your first look at Halo: Nightfall

At San Diego Comic-Con, Microsoft and 343 gave gamers their first look at the Halo: Nightfall television series.

The series, which takes place before Halo 5: Guardians and stars Mike Colter as protagonist Agent Jameson Locke, looks pretty damn good already if you ask us.

Agent Locke is a playable character in Halo 5: Guardians. You can see him in Spartan getup in the image above, but in Nightfall, Locke’s a member of spy group ONI.

“If you don’t watch [Nightfall],” 343’s Frank O’Connor said at Comic-Con, “it won’t affect your ability to enjoy and play Halo 5, but I think it will give a really compelling insight into Locke. Locke’s a little bit more complicated than just an all-American boy, though. There’s going to be some nuance to his character in both Nightall and Halo 5, but you will get to go on that journey with him in the game.”

Nightfall will be available in November alongside Halo: The Master Chief Colllection.
