Watch: Check out Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer

Sony used Paris Games Week to show off Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer gameplay.

Sony has advised that the mode will take place in “unique maps with rich environments that reward exploration, strategy and team work” in a “multiplayer experience that celebrates the very best of the Uncharted franchise.”

Protagonist Nathan Drake will be able to hire one of four sidekicks to fight alongside him, and will “provide support by tracking… enemies, reviving fallen allies or unleashing heavy offensive firepower.”

Sony confirmed that you’ll also be able to team up with real-world friends.

Those who purchase Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will receive exclusive access to a Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta, taking place between 4-13 December this year.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available next year on PS4.
