Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 delayed further, with new developer

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2‘s woes continue: the game has been delayed until at least 2022 and is now under development by a new studio.

Publisher Paradox Interactive detailed the change of developer and new release timeframe in a statement yesterday.

Bloodlines 2 is still in development,” it asserted. “We have made the hard decision that Hardsuit Labs will no longer be leading the development of Bloodlines 2 — which also means that we will not be releasing in 2021 as previously planned. Since we cannot at this time communicate a new release date, we’ve also decided to stop accepting pre-orders for the time being.”

A new release window — beyond 2022, that is — was not detailed.

Originally planned for an early 2020 release date before being delayed further into 2020 — and later into 2021 — we’ll let you know when you can expect Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 next.
