Until Dawn sequel confirmed by Hayden Panettiere, Peter Stormare

An Until Dawn sequel was teased in its recent remake, and now two of its actors are seemingly confirming its existence.

Hayden Panettiere (Sam Giddings) and Peter Stormare (Dr Hill) each made separate acknowledgements of the sequel.

Stormare, who also will portray a version of Dr Hill in a live action Until Dawn movie, took to his Instagram stories to directly reference a sequel.

Panettiere, famous for Heroes, Nashville, and Scream, has also acknowledged that “they are going further [with the Until Dawn franchise]”.

Until Dawn has been around for years and years now. I think people love it,” Panettiere said in a new interview. “And the fact that they are going further with it says that there’s a want for it.”

While Stormare is directly talking about a sequel, it is possible that Panettiere could be referencing the aforementioned movie (with an entirely different cast).

WARNING: Spoilers lie ahead.

While that’s wholly probable, the fact that Panettiere’s character of Sam appears to be turning into a wendigo in the remake’s new ending makes the latter just as likely. Time will tell.

While I very much questioned the existence of the Until Dawn remake, the original is an ultimate favourite of mine. I’d have no problems with a sequel. What do you think? Sound off in the comments area, below.

Expect the Until Dawn remake from today, 4 October, on Windows PC and PS5. The original PS4 game is playable on PS5 and only costs $25 AUD (compared to $110 AUD).
