Until Dawn remake’s Ballistic Moon lays off staff ahead of release

"Like many others in this wonderful but turbulent industry, I am sadly being made redundant."

Ballistic Moon, the developer behind Sony’s upcoming Until Dawn remake, has laid off staff ahead of the game’s launch in October.

At least two within the studio have confirm they’ve lost their jobs.

“Like many others in this wonderful but turbulent industry, I am sadly being made redundant from my role as a Junior Game Designer at Ballistic Moon,” wrote Cassy Cornish on their LinkedIn.

“After two ex[c]iting years working on the wonderful Until Dawn 2024 at Ballistic Moon, I am unfortunately being made redundant as a Technical Designer,” added Harry Williams, also on LinkedIn.

Ballistic Moon is the developer behind the Until Dawn remake, recreating Supermassive’s classic PS3 narrative horror title.

Expect the Until Dawn remake from 4 October on Windows PC and PS5.
