Uncharted 4 multiplayer won’t have vehicles or dedicated servers

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End won’t have vehicles at launch or dedicated servers, well, ever.

At Paris Games Week, Lead Multiplayer Designer Robert Cogburn confirmed vehicles will be added to the game after launch.

“I can tell you for ship we will not have vehicles, but it is something we’re hoping to tackle in the future,” he said.

Cogburn also confirmed that A Thief’s End multiplayer will rely on hosts rather than dedicated servers.

“We’ll still have a host, it’s still peer-to-peer,” he confirmed.

Multiplayer matches will be five versus five, he added.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will have a multiplayer beta beginning in early December.
