Ultimate Sackboy brings LittleBigPlanet to mobile devices

Just don't expect the same style gameplay.

Ultimate Sackboy is a new mobile game featuring LittleBigPlanet protagonist Sackboy, and will lead a new charge of Sony properties on smart devices.

Developed by Exient, Ultimate Sackboy is an endless runner in the vein of Super Mario Run and Temple Run.

“Play as iconic hero Sackboy as he takes on the legendary Ultimate Games, the most prestigious – and craziest – obstacle racing tournament in all of Craftworld,” reads the game’s description.

“Can you slide, dodge and weave past classic Sackboy enemies, surpass your rivals to win cool prizes – all while lookin’ stylish!?”

A series of beta tests will first be conducted in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Malta, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey before a full public launch. You can pre-register for Android here on Google Play Store, or subscribe to Mailchimp updates regarding iOS devices.
