Ubisoft’s Sam is the publisher’s answer to Siri

Ubisoft has recently launched a Siri-like digital assistant named Sam.

Available through the Ubisoft Club mobile app, Sam has gaming-themed functions. For example, he can tell you how much time you’ve spent playing Ubisoft titles like Assassin’s Creed: Origins or Far Cry 4, let you know what your Ubisoft Club friends are doing and can provide tips about games you’ve got in your library.

If you’re wanting to try Sam out for yourself, you might have to wait a bit — the digital assistant is currently in beta in Canada. He’ll be rolling out to other regions shortly, Ubisoft has advised.

What do you make of Sam? Missed opportunity to not have him sound like Splinter Cell‘s Sam Fisher?
