Ubisoft+ subscription service heading to Xbox

Not part of Xbox Game Pass like EA Play, though.

The Ubisoft+ subscription service will soon head to Xbox consoles, Ubisoft has recently confirmed.

The service is currently available on Windows PC, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna.

“Ubisoft+ brings players more than 100 Ubisoft games – including the latest releases, DLC and classic games – and rewards which include customisation items, boosters and other in-game perks,” Ubisoft said of its service, which was originally called Uplay+ and launched back in September 2019.

Current Ubisoft+ plans start at $19.99 AUD per month. While it’s possible that Ubisoft+ could be rolled into Xbox and PC Game Pass much like EA Play currently is, it appears as if Ubisoft will run this as a separate service. We’ve asked Ubisoft for clarification.

A specific Xbox release date for the Ubisoft+ subscription service, nor pricing, were not detailed by the publisher; we’ll keep you informed as we learn more.

Ubisoft today also confirmed that Rainbow Six Extraction would be available in the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscription services on Xbox and PC.
