A Twisted Metal TV show is PlayStation Productions’ first project

A Twisted Metal TV show is PlayStation Productions’ first confirmed project, it was revealed during a Sony investor meeting tomorrow.

“We have a TV show we just agreed to get underway that will be developed from the IP on PlayStation, it’s called Twisted Metal,” Sony Pictures Entertainment Chairman and CEO Tony Vinciquerra said. “It’s a game that was put out many years ago and we’re going to develop a TV series around that.”

The Twisted Metal TV show is PlayStation Productions’ first confirmed project, though we expect to hear of more TV and film projects to be revealed soon. The Marvel Studios-like production company was revealed to the world just yesterday.

Would you watch a Twisted Metal TV show? The latest game in the franchise was 2012’s Twisted Metal on PS3.
