Titanfall 2: PS4 Pro support will be “on the disc”

Respawn’s Drew McCoy has confirmed that Titanfall 2 content needed to support the PS4 Pro will be on-disc and not updated via post-release patch.

McCoy told Stevivor just what that PS4 Pro support would entail: more stable framerate and resolution compared to the PS4 Slim, and upscaled 4K rather than native 4K.

Titanfall 2 is available on Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC from 28 October. The PS4 Pro is available from 10 November.
