The Chant From Gloom to Glory Achievement fixed on Xbox

Brass Token has sorted the issue.

Update 2: The Chant From Gloom to Glory Achievement has been patched on Xbox Series consoles.

The patch seems to have dropped overnight on 19 November.

Sadly, the Achievement wasn’t not unlocking for those who fulfilled its requirements since the game launched earlier this month.

Original story [9 November]: Multiple users on TrueAchievements — including this author — have confirmed the Achievement is glitched, with user saying he’s “reported [the issue] to the developers.”

I’ve also done the same via Twitter, with The Chant‘s official account replying, “Oh no, sorry to hear this! Thanks for raising it, I’ve passed it on to be investigated urgently.”

We’ve made an official request to Brass Token and Prime Matter via their Australian PR contacts and hope to have an update on the matter as soon as possible.

Update: Brass Token has responded to our query.

“Thank you for sharing this bug with us,” the developer has replied. “Unfortunately, it wasn’t caught by QA. Brass Token is actively making a fix for this and aims to patch this week.”

The Chant‘s corresponding Trophy on PS5 — which should unlock when all other Achievements/Trophies are earned — doesn’t appear to have the same problems.

The Chant is available now on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5; we reviewed it here.
