Tetris Royale to bring Tetris 99 battle royale to iOS, Android

Tetris Royale has been confirmed for iOS and Android decices by The Tetris Company.

The title will seeming mirror the battle royale functionality of Tetris 99 on Switch, pitting a large number of players (in this case, 100 rather than 99) against one another in a rousing game of Tetris. The title will also sport “power-ups and boosters” that can be used in during play, a press release has confirmed.

Moreover, the mobile title will feature “a variety of modes” in addition to the battle royale. Already, a “solo Marathon mode where players can hone their Tetris skills” has been confimred as one such mode.

Tetris Royale is planned for iOS and Android, though a release date has yet to be named. It’s being developed by Legendary: Game of Heroes‘ N3twork.
