Tetris 99 gets two new offline modes as DLC

Tetris 99 will receive two new offline game modes thanks to its upcoming Big Block DLC, Nintendo today confirmed.

The Big Block DLC is a season pass, available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Priced at $9.99 USD, the content includes the following:

  • CPU Battle – Play Tetris 99 offline against 98 CPU players
  • Marathon – Challenge yourself in this offline mode to clear the most lines and score big

Moreover, a new Tetris 99 Grand Pix will run over 17-20 May, starting at 5.00 pm AEST on 17 May. In it, players who earn 100 event points will unlock an in-game theme inspired by the original version of Tetris on Game Boy.

Tetris 99 is available now on Nintendo Switch, exclusive to those with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
