Tennis World Tour confirmed for May 2018 release on PS4

Tennis World Tour developer Breakpoint used the PlayStation Experience event to detail the game’s release date: May 2018.

The news comes from an interview with Breakpoint’s Etienne Jacquemain, who said that his studio is aiming to create a “true simulation game” for tennis. Much like the Melbourne-developed AO Tennis, Breakpoint scanned real pro tennis players to capture movement.

This release date means that Tennis World Tour will follow the release of AO Tennis.

Tennis World Tour was announced back in May. The title will head to Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch, though technically only the PS4 released has been confirmed for availability in May 2018. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
