Summer Game Fest Xbox One demo event coming at the end of July

A Summer Game Fest Xbox One demo event has been scheduled for the end of July and will bring “somewhere between 75 and 100” game demos to Microsoft’s current-gen console.

Organised through the ID@Xbox program and in conjunction with Summer Game Fest, the event will run between 21-27 July (or likely 22-28 July here in Australia). Already, the following titles have been confirmed as taking part in the event:

  • Cris Tales
  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Haven
  • Hellpoint
  • Skatebird
  • The Vale: Shadow of the Crown
  • Raji: An Ancient Epic
  • Welcome to Elk

In a post on Xbox Wire, ID@Xbox’s Glenn Gregory said to think of the demos as rough, “show floor demos” and that “[these] demos will only be up on the Xbox Dashboard for a week. Some might be re-published to the Demo channel later, but many will simply evaporate at the end of the week, so make sure to check them out while you can.”

We’ll let you know when exact timings and a full roster of titles has been confirmed.
