Summer Game Fest Capcom Showcase coming 13 June in Australia

More Resident Evil, please?

The Summer Game Fest Capcom Showcase will take place on 13 June here in Australia.

Update: It’s official!

According to a now-deleted Facebook event post first discovered by Twitter account Resident Evil Central, the event is timed for 23.00 BST on 12 June over in Europe, which corresponds to 8.00 am AEST on 13 June locally.

You can head here to find out what that means in your own timezone.

The event will run for approximately 40 minutes, according to the Facebook event.

Capcom isn’t promoting the event as yet — nor has it officially confirmed it at the time of writing — so it’s not clear what players should expect from it; we’ll of course keep you posted as you learn more.

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
