Suicide Squad game closed alpha coming early December

Register and lock yourself behind and NDA, and you may be able to take part.

Suicide Squad game closed alpha has been set for early December, Warner Bros and Rocksteady have recently revealed.

Taking place over 1-5 December here in Australia, those who’d like to take part in the closed alpha will need to register, and then sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to properly participate. The closed alpha will be available across all platforms — PC, Xbox and PlayStation — though those on PC are advised that it’s preferrable to play using a controller.

“Please note, the game is still in development, and this test will only represent a smaller, specific section of the campaign and will not be representative of the full/final experience,” Warner Bros said as part of the closed alpha sign-up. “We are excited to have you play the full game at launch.”

That NDA we mentioned before? It’s very important to keep in mind.

“Posting (or streaming) images/screenshots, videos, or any text-based impressions of your experience online, via social media, or in any public forum is strictly prohibited, as is speaking to press outlets or content creators in any way,” Warner Bros continued. “Keep in mind, all gameplay is watermarked with a unique identifier tied to your account.”

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League has been making headlines of late, but not in ways that Warner Bros or Rocksteady had likely hoped. This closed alpha may show players that the game isn’t as live service-focused as feared… but they won’t be able to tell the rest of us either way.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is planned for a 2 February release on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5.
