Subnautica free on the Epic Games Store

Subnautica is free on the Epic Games Store until shortly after Christmas.

Available for free until 27 December 2018, you can grab Unknown Worlds Entertainment’s popular game right here.

For those unaware, Subnautica is a first-person open-world survival game set on an ocean planet known as 4546B. In it, you’ll be tasked to survive inside the deep blue sea.

Subnautica will be the first free game to be ordered by the Epic Game Store, with Super Meat Boy to follow. Expect Super Meat Boy for free between 28 December 2018 to 10 January 2019.

The Epic Games Store launched earlier this month and offers developers a large chunk of revenue from purchases. Games available on the new service include Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek, Subnautica, Shadow Complex, Unreal Tournament, Darksiders 3 and Fortnite.

Subnautica is available now on Windows PC, Mac, Xbox One and PS4.
