Stubbs the Zombie remaster coming to PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch

Xbox classic Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse will be remastered on a number of platforms including Windows PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, developer Aspyr today confirmed.

Showcased at today’s Nintendo Direct, Aspyr has confirmed the title will be released on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.

The 2005 title places you in the shoes of a Zombie named Stubbs, on a quest to save his girlfriend in a small US town in the 1950s.

“In your quest to reunite with the love of your life, you’ll explore several of Punchbowl’s most impressive locales,” Aspyr said over on the PlayStation Blog. “Each self-contained location features new mechanics, challenges, and (of course) new Punchbowl citizens to gnaw on. Ever wondered if a crazed farmhand’s brains taste different from a ray tgun-wielding, jetpack joyriding barbershop quartet member’s? Now’s your chance to find out!”

The title is already up for pre-order on the Microsoft Store, priced at $29.95 AUD.

Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse is currently available on the original Xbox; a remaster heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Switch from 17 March.
