Stray release date set for mid-2022, says Sony

Yes, please.

We’ve finally got something resembling a Stray release date, with Sony recently saying the title should be expected in the coming months.

Stray was included with the likes of We Are OFK and the Aussie-made Cult of the Lamb in Sony’s tweet, which also suggests we’ll see the former sometime in mid-2022 (or summer 2022 in the northern hemisphere).

“These are just three of the can’t-miss indies coming soon to PlayStation,” the tweet adds.

The title was announced back in 2020 and was targeting a 2021 release.

“Lost, alone, and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity and find the way home,” developer Annapurna said of the title at its announcement.

Stray is planned for a release on Windows PC and PS5.
