Starfield coming 11 November 2022 as an Xbox exclusive

Get excited.

Starfield today kicked off the Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 Showcase with an in-game reveal of what to expect.

Frankly, it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Bethesda’s Todd Howard took to the virtual stage to affirm that he and his team “have the hardware, the technology and the team” to make the sci-fi RPG. He also confirmed the title is being based on Creation Engine 2.

“In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery,” Bethesda said of its next title.

Starfield heads to PC, Xbox Series S & X and Xbox Cloud Gaming — that’s right, skipping PlayStation — on 11 November 2022. It was also confirmed for Xbox Game Pass at launch. Check it out in the trailer below.
