Star Wars Battlefront 2 credit update to (hopefully) fix economy

A new Star Wars Battlefront 2 update has buffed credit earning in-game.

This means that players will be able to earn more credits at the end of a multiplayer match. Moreover, top players will earn extra credits for their efforts, though exact figures were not detailed.

Additionally, players will be able to earn up to three times are many credit’s in the game’s Arcade mode, with the cap now locked at 1,500 credits.

Finally, in-game Daily Login Crates will also offer up more credits when unlocked, though (and again) exact amounts weren’t disclosed.

The need to earn higher amounts of in-game credits has been persistent since the game’s launch; with microtransactions turned off as a knee-jerk reaction to weeks of fan outrage, the game is horribly imbalanced. We detailed how frustrating it was to have to save up for Hero unlocks or Star Cards — but not both — in our revised review.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. The update is live now.
