Star Trek Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks crossover airs from today

Surprise!

It’s not only those at San Diego Comic-Con that get to watch the Star Trek Strange New Worlds Lower Decks crossover early — Paramount+ is releasing it globally where the streaming service is available.

Thankfully, that means Australia too.

Locally, fans should expect access to the seventh episode of Strange New Worlds‘ second season at 9.00 am AEST today, 23 July 2023. That corresponds to 7.00 pm ET over in America for our friends across the pond.

You can check out when to expect new episodes of Strange New Worlds‘ second season here; it was also confirmed that the show’s ninth episode, “Subspace Rhapsody”, will be a musical one.

The series sees Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn and Ethan Peck reprising their Star Trek Discovery roles as Pike, Number One and Spock, respectively. The Enterprise crew is rounded out by Celia Rose Gooding as Nyota Uhura, Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, and newcomers Paul Wesley as James T. Kirk and Carol Kane as Chief Engineer Pelia.

Paramount+ will set Aussies back $8.99 AUD per month; you can sign up now and get your first week free.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds airs on Paramount+ in the USA and Australia.
