Star Trek Prodigy Season 2 heads to Netflix in July

FINALLY.

The non-French version of Star Trek Prodigy Season 2 will finally head to Netflix in July, the streaming company has today announced.

Via the Netflix interface, we now know that Prodigy Season 2 will become available from 1 July — likely later on 1 July or even on 2 July here in Australia.

It’s unclear at this stage if the 20-episode season will be released in one single drop, or dispersed over two or more chunks; we’ll report back as we learn more.

Prodigy Season 2 has been available in full in France since March, with a local affiliate able to release the entire season far ahead of its English-speaking counterparts.

Paramount dropped Star Trek Prodigy back in June 2023, where it remained in limbo until Netflix swooped in and saved the show. Season 1 of the series is already available on Netflix, with no word on when we can expect Season 2. Yet.
