Star Trek Prodigy is the name of the Nickelodeon animated show

Star Trek Prodigy is the name of the animated TV show coming to Netflix, a Wall Street Journal article has recently confirmed.

We’ve known about the Star Trek Nickelodeon series for some time now, but we weren’t sure of its name until this report. The name Star Trek Prodigy has been kicking about since its trademark registration back in August 2019, but the two were never connected until now.

Star Trek Prodigy is developed by developed by Emmy Award winners Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters, Ninjago). Not much else is known about the show as yet, though we’ll update you as we learn more. Prodigy is the second Star Trek animated series in production — Star Trek: Lower Decks has already been detailed by CBS.
