Star Trek Picard Season 2 begins February 2022

Say hello to the (new?) Borg Queen.

Star Trek Picard Season 2 will premiere in February 2022 and involve both Q and the nefarious Borg Queen.

Jeri Ryan, aka Seven of Nine, took to the Star Trek Day stage today to debut a new trailer in lieu of Patrick Stewart, who sadly wasn’t able to attend the event.

The trailer shows off John de Lancie as Q alongside Annie Wersching as the Borg Queen. According to the trailer, Q has turned back time to present “a totalitarian nightmare” that seems strikingly similar to the Mirror Universe. To combat the change, Picard seemingly needs to hijack the Borg Queen. Interesting.

Star Trek Picard Season 2 heads to Paramount+ in the USA, Crave in Canada and Amazon Prime elsewhere (including Australia) from February 2022. Season Three was also officially confirmed as of today.
