Star Trek Online Rise of Discovery Xbox, PS4 release now available

Star Trek Online Rise of Discovery is now available on Xbox One and PS4 after an earlier release on PC this month.

Another Star Trek: Discovery expansion, this one follows the U.S.S. Buran. Commanded by (Prime timeline) Captain Gabriel Lorca, as voiced by Jason Isaacs, Commander Ellen Landry (voiced by Rekha Sharma) also stars.

“Captains will play through two incredibly moving featured episodes to uncover what happened to these characters before they beamed aboard the U.S.S. Discovery in the show’s first season,” Perfect World said of the release. “Console players will also discover a brand new reputation [and] fly premium ships that now scale to their character level.

Moreover, Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus members will be able to redeem extra rewards between 2 July and 13 October. “The reward packs on each console include a color-variant Tardigrade Combat Pet, a color-variant Assault Drone Vanity Pet and three Master Keys,” Perfect World confirmed.

Star Trek Online is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Star Trek: Discovery‘s second season can be viewed in full on Netflix here in Australia.
