Star Trek: Online heads to the Delta Quadrant this spring

Perfect World Entertainment and Crytpic today announced that Star Trek: Online is getting a new expansion called “Delta Rising”.

As you might have gathered from the name, the expansion focuses on the Delta Quadrant, the far-off area of space that the USS Voyager was marooned in decades before. Players will use a wormhole inside of a Dyson Sphere to travel to the Delta Quadrant.

Voyager‘s Garrett Wang will be reprising his role as Harry Kim in the expansion. New species introduced to the game as part of the expansion include the Talaxians, the Ocampans, the Kazon and more.

Moreover, Star Trek Online‘s level cap will be raised from 50 to 60. This is the first time in four years that the game’s level cap has been raised.

Expect “Delta Rising” this spring.
