Star Trek Online Halloween 2021 event on now

This is its first spooky seasonal event.

Star Trek Online has kicked off its first-ever Halloween event, called The Fall of the Old Ones.

The three-week event runs through to 3 November and takes place across PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

“Captains will beam down to an ancient castle on Pyris VII, where they will encounter the Old Ones, the same iconic aliens introduced in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode ‘Catspaw’,” Perfect World said in a press release.

“These extragalactic beings have traveled to the Milky Way to study humanity, but their plans have been disrupted by the ghost-like Devidians. This new Task Force Operation brings your Captain into the same maw of terror first faced by Captain Kirk, Mr. Scott, and Dr McCoy.”

Players who complete the seasonal content will unlock an Old One Vanity Pet and a Transmuter Wand Universal Kit Module. To unlock both items, players will need to complete the event’s Task Force Operation one time per day for at least two of the event’s three weeks.

Star Trek Online is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
