Star Trek Discovery Season 2 confirmed by CBS

Star Trek Discovery Season 2 has been confirmed by CBS.

“In just six episodes, Star Trek: Discovery has driven subscriber growth, critical acclaim and huge global fan interest for the first premium version of this great franchise,” CBS Interactive president, Marc DeBevoise, said in a statement.

“This series has a remarkable creative team and cast who have demonstrated their ability to carry on the Star Trek legacy.”

Showrunners Aaron Harberts and Gretchen J. Berg will return for the second season, it was also confirmed.

Here in Australia, Star Trek: Discovery is available via Netflix. The show’s sixth episode was released yesterday.
